As the armed conflict in the Mindanao arises because of the presence of the ISIS-affiliated Maute group, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte has ‘controversially’ put the whole Southern part of the Philippines under the rule of martial law. And, as of his pronouncements, many well-known celebrities and showbiz personalities have also stated their stands–and one of these is the ‘Bad boy’ of the Philippine Cinema, Mr. Robin Padilla.
According to the report of Trending News Portal, Mr. Padilla is a self-proclaimed ‘Duterte Diehard Supporters’ (DDS). Mr. Robin Padilla firmly believes that the Mayor from Davao, who is currently the President of the Republic of the Philippines, can solve the harshest conflicts of the country. Last May 24, 2017, the tough-talking President declared martial law in the whole of Mindanao after the ISIS-affiliated Maute terrorist group exchanges fire with government troops at Marawi City. As specified in the Philippine Constitution, the said military rule will be in effect for 2 months (60) days in the whole Southern part of the Philippines.
It is also stated in the controversial report that the Presidential spokesman Ernesto Abella made the controversial pronouncement of the President Duterte while the Chief Executive was still in Moscow, Russia for his business trip. This viral video featuring the firm stand of Mr. Robin Padilla after he was approached by former lead of the Mocha Girls and now the current Assistant Secretary of the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO), Ms. Margaux “Mocha” Justiniano Uson.
The Bad boy was then questioned by Mocha about his thoughts on the latest situation in the Philippines. Robin stated his firm stand on his fellow Duterte Diehard supporters:
“Syempre una pasasalamat at syempre wag po kayo magbibitaw, dahil ang ating pong pakikipaglaban ay tuloy-tuloy at tayo po ay naguumpisa pa lamang.”
The Assistant Secretary then asked if Mr. Padilla had any ideas regarding on the terrorist group’s attack on Marawi City.
